The Arcadia Reptile 20W Mini Halogen Lamp is a gentle, energy-efficient lamp designed to run at full capacity for extended periods whilst maintaining high levels of bioavailable IR-A. This brand-new small lamp delivers crisp, bright light that is rich in Infrared-A wavelengths. Compared to standard glass lamps, it offers superior reflection and insulation, allowing it to replace higher-wattage tungsten lamps while delivering comparable light output and achieving significant energy savings.
This 20 W Mini Halogen Lamp provides continuous energy for basking throughout the day, where higher-wattage lamps may dim or switch off, ensuring consistent and usable Infrared-A. It is also well suited for smaller enclosures and smaller species.
The lamp also has a built-in metal reflector for optimal light delivery to the basking zone and is available with standard E27/26 screw thread caps.
Arcadia Reptile Mini Halogen Lamps should be used alongside an appropriate UV producing system, such as ProT5, and can be paired with Arcadia Reptile Deep Heat Projectors and JungleDawn-LED Bars.
Arcadia Reptile wide beam Halogen Flood Lamps are powerful, robust, and should be used with a suitable dimming thermostat.
Designed to be energy efficient, these lamps can replace 50 W tungsten flood lamps.

The Arcadia Reptile Halogen Infrared Heaters are bright, powerful, and quick to warm, delivering high levels of Infrared-A (IR-A) to encourage natural basking behavior. Each lamp is crafted to mostly emit Infra-Red energy (mostly IR-A). These are the wavelengths that penetrate the body deeply and allow reptiles to thrive.
Our wide beam Halogen Flood Lamps are powerful, robust and fully dimmable when used with suitable control systems.
When used correctly with a secure power supply and appropriate thermostatic control, these lamps can last longer than tungsten filament lamps due to their construction and increased shock resistance.
These lamps are not designed to emit visible light and must not be used to illuminate buildings.

Halogen lamps are robust and can help lower energy spend per heated enclosure due to their efficient design, highly insulating glass, high quality of reflection and sturdy nature.
Using a thick tungsten filament encased in a sealed halogen gas tube, halogen lamps simply produce more light and heat than standard lamps. This is then maximised via robust glass (IR Blocking) insulation and impactful reflection. All genuine Arcadia Halogen Flood Heat lamps are suitable for use with good dimming thermostats and it is our strong recommendation that you use good quality thermostats with probes.
