We're Hiring! (2025)

We are looking for a Sales Associate who is outgoing, dependable, and passionate about animal care. This role combines customer service, animal husbandry, and store support to help us maintain a safe, enriching environment for both our animals and our customers.

Duties:
-Greet and assist customers with animal care and product knowledge (training provided)
-Operate POS computers, process transactions, and handle cash
-Feed, water, and maintain animal enclosures
-Clean and sanitize, bowls and enrichment items
-Receive deliveries and help manage stock/inventory
-Keeping the store clean and organized

Requirements:
-Must have personal, reliable year round transportation (limited public transit, no sidewalk)
-Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, crouching, and standing for long periods
-Experience interacting with customers in a confident, friendly, and informative way
-Experience keeping or working with reptiles, amphibians, or inverts
-Must handle live insects (crickets, worms, etc.)
-Curious and open to learning about evolving care standards and new species

Starting Wage: $15–$20/hour
Required Days: Open to Close, either
Tuesday to Saturday (10am) or,
Wednesday to Sunday (10am) or,
Monday to Friday

40-42hr/wk
