Apx 2019 hatch, Mordecai has put on good weight with us and is ready for their adult enclosure. This ideally is a 8x4x4' or LARGER enclosure.
Due to their climbing nature, ensure all electrical elements are secure and safe. A large area for digging, swimming and arboreal branches, cork rounds provided for basking.
Long leather gloves should be worn to avoid being hurt by their claws although minimal handling is suggested. Taking f/t quail and mice by tong. They are huffy but not quick to tail whip.
Mordecai had a skin biopsy in January 2026 but came back clear and NO ISSUES. Due to this they have some scale distortion spots on their back.
