Mangrove Monitor 'Mordecai' SP, Varanus indicus

Apx 2019 hatch, small for their age and should quickly size up with proper diet and care.  An intern habitat can be used while working towards the proper “adult” sized habitat. 
Long leather gloves should be worn to avoid being hurt by their claws although minimal handling is suggested. Taking f/t quail and mice by tong. They are huffy but not quick to tail whip. 

Due to their climbing nature, ensure all electrical elements are secure and safe. A large area for digging, swimming and arboreal branches, cork rounds provided for basking. 

Mordecai had a skin biopsy but came back clear and NO ISSUES. Due to this they have some healing spots on their back which does not require any special care and will heal up after a few sheds.
