Utricularia graminifolia from Asia belongs to the bladderwort family. An insect eating, perennial water and marsh plant. In the nature, the plant lives in nutrient-poor places, hence the need to catch small insects and digest them.

This form from the Montane forests near Tingo Maria, Peru is similar to the Ecuadorian E. peltatum var. Standleyi however the frond size on this Peruvian form is smaller and from what we have experienced the growth is more compact.
